We Live and Breathe
AirPods.
AirPodsCentral.com was built by audio enthusiasts who got tired of generic tech coverage. Every guide, review, and fix article is written by people who actually use AirPods daily — and test accessories until they break.
Why We Built This Site
It started with a bad purchase. After spending $249 on AirPods Pro 2 based on a review that turned out to be six months out of date — with wrong firmware details and no mention of the fit issues introduced in a later update — we realised the internet was full of AirPods content written by people who’d never actually worn them.
So we built the site we wished existed. One with named authors, documented testing, real opinions — including the negative ones — and content that gets updated whenever Apple changes something significant. Not a content farm. Not a link aggregator. An actual reference.
AirPodsCentral.com exists to answer every AirPods question honestly — whether you’re deciding which model to buy, fixing one that’s broken, or just trying to get the most out of the one you already have.
“We only publish something when we can say we’ve actually used it — not just read the spec sheet.”
Meet Our Team
Every article is written by a named person with real audio experience — not generated by AI and attributed to a ghost.
Our Values
These aren’t aspirational bullet points. They are the actual criteria we apply to every piece of content before it goes live. If an article doesn’t meet all four, it doesn’t publish.
If a product disappoints, we say so clearly. Negative findings are published without restriction — even when the product earns us a higher affiliate commission than its alternatives.
Every product reviewed on this site has been physically tested by the named author. We do not publish spec-sheet rewrites or regurgitated press releases dressed up as reviews.
We clearly disclose every affiliate link and advertising relationship. Revenue never determines ranking order. See our Affiliate Disclosure for full details.
We would rather publish one accurate article late than ten fast articles that need correcting. When we do get something wrong, we publish a correction at the top of the article with a date.
How We Keep the Lights On
We believe readers deserve to know exactly how a site they rely on makes money. Here is our complete picture — nothing hidden.
When you click a product link and buy on Amazon, we earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. This is our primary revenue source. Commission rates range from 1–8% depending on product type and never affect the price you pay.
Primary revenueWe display contextual ads via Google AdSense. These are automatically placed by Google based on page content — we do not control which advertisers appear. Ad revenue supplements our affiliate income, particularly on troubleshooting content.
Display advertisingNo sponsored reviews. No paid placement in roundups. No payment from Apple or any accessory brand in exchange for coverage. No “native advertising” disguised as editorial content. If we ever run a sponsored piece, it will be labelled as such.
Never acceptedFor our complete monetisation disclosure including the exact Amazon Associates legal statement, commission rate information, and AdSense opt-out instructions, see our Affiliate Disclosure page.
