Meet Our Team
Three audio specialists who have owned every AirPods generation, tested hundreds of accessories, and written every guide on this site under their own names.
James has owned every AirPods generation since the original 2016 model. A former consumer electronics retail specialist with 7 years on the floor, he now tests audio gear full-time and writes every flagship review published on AirPodsCentral.com.
He built this site after growing frustrated with AirPods reviews written by generalist journalists who’d never worn the product for more than an afternoon. Every guide on AirPodsCentral.com reflects real hands-on testing — not spec-sheet rewrites. He’s personally drop-tested over 40 AirPods cases and currently uses AirPods Pro 3 as his daily driver.
Operations Team
The technical and SEO infrastructure behind the site — making sure every article reaches the right readers and the site runs cleanly.
Responsible for keyword research, content calendar planning, internal link architecture, and SERP performance tracking across all AirPodsCentral.com articles. Ensures every piece of content targets realistic, high-intent queries.
Manages WordPress infrastructure (GeneratePress + GenerateBlocks), Core Web Vitals optimisation, schema markup implementation, affiliate plugin configuration (Lasso/AAWP), and site security. Keeps every page under 2.5s LCP.
Our Editorial Values
These aren’t aspirational bullet points. They are the actual rules every team member applies before anything gets published.
No review goes live without the named author having physically tested the product. Spec sheets are starting points, not conclusions.
If a product underperforms, we say so — even when it earns a higher commission than the alternative we recommend instead.
Every article carries the name of a real person who stands behind it. No anonymous content, no AI-generated reviews attributed to fictional bios.
When we get something wrong, a dated correction notice goes at the top of the article — permanently visible, never silently overwritten.
Got a Question for the Team?
Whether you’ve spotted an error in a review, have a topic suggestion, or just want to say the site helped — we read and respond to every message personally.
